New Entrepreneur Scholarships (NES) programme
 
A 14 week course with approximately 8 hours teaching. The course designed to help people starting up their own business by providing robust business and IT programme.
Funded by the learning and skills council and delivered in partnership with the Association of Business Schools, the National Federation of Enterprise Agencies and the Princes Trust.
The part time course introduced business concepts and skills associated with starting a business as well as participating in meetings with business advisors, entrepreneurs and tutors.
Running from: October 06-March 07.

Each had to prepare a business plan and then the ultimate testing and presenting their business idea to a dragons' den style panel.
There was 17 NES Scholars whom graduated 11 of them received a grant of £1.500 to help them start up on there own.

Friday 14th September the Major came along to The Enterprise Factory Oldham to congratulate all the N.E.S Scholars on the completion of there course and graduating.
